TeleWare and Vodat International Enter into Partnership to Cut Cost of Telephony
Vodat and TeleWare, the foremost U.K. supplier of communications solutions for mobile and distributed workers, have partnered to offer cloud-based software and telephony to help retailers cut costs and improve customer service.
Officials with TeleWare said that the company has extended accredited partner status to Vodat International, a communications solutions provider to the retail industry.
Company officials said that Vodat will provide IP extensions and SIP trunking to deliver a complete VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) telephony service from TeleWare’s hosted platform.
According to company officials, Vodat’s managed network has as well been extensively tested with the TeleWare portfolio to provide seamless integration from day one.
Haworth said that Vodat has strong in-house expertise in data networks and the technical skills to deploy and support the company’s hosted voice products and the company looks forward to working with them to meet the clients’ needs.
TMCnet in February reported that to outspace the rapidly expanding VoIP market with technological advances, TeleWare has added two new enhancements to the capabilities of its SIP Trunk solution.
The first enhancement in SIP Trunk solution is its Failover resilience that offers a business to manage the risk of PBX (Private -Automatic- Branch Exchange) or lease line failure, providing business continuity for no additional investment. And the other capability is it’s call recording ability. This function enables all calls on the trunk to be recorded with all the business-class, secure and encrypted capabilities of the standard TeleWare call recording offering.
