Tagattitude Launches NFC2.0 (TM) in the United States and France
Tagattitude, an innovative French company specializing in secure, electronic transactions, today announced NFC2.0(TM), a in a class by itself, universal and easy-to-use research that enables contactless mobile transactions across any network using any smartphone. NFC2.0 is compatible with all smartphones and is completely independent of the phone's operating system(ie:Symbian)(ie:IOS)(ie:RIM)(ie:etc.). View the demonstration video here.
"NFC2.0 is a purely software solution that does not require a chip or NFC phone to make contactless transactions," said Yves Eonnet, CEO of Tagattitude. "With a simple application, consumers can easily and securely make transactions using their smartphones regardless of the phone's model or carrier."
NFC2.0 has already been integrated into a TagPay application making in-store payments with a smartphone or iPad simple, efficient and secure. Once the purchase is made, receipts are logged in to the customer's smartphone and/or iPad in the TagPay application. Those with less sophisticated phones can however make transactions using Tagattitude's NSDT(TM)research, which works with any mobile phone with a simple phone call. The NFC2.0(TM) TagPay application is now available in Apple's AppStore and will be available on the Android Market in January 2012.
NFC2.0(TM) will be offered as a contactless transaction service in other words easy to integrate with any smartphone application. Developers will have access to a Software Development Kit and public APIs to facilitate this integration. A TagPay "in the Cloud" will be optionally available for those applications handling financial transactions to use the TagPay architecture and features.
Financial service providers, telecom operators, and others will use NFC2.0(TM) to offer their clients the ability to make contactless transactions. Outside the realm of financial transactions, NFC2.0(TM) has several other applications just as, ticketing, social networking, e-couponing, gaming and more.
Variety of transaction capabilities for both high
Tagattitude offers a variety of transaction capabilities for both high and low-end phones with its NFC2.0(TM) and NSDT(TM) technologies. Tagattitude as well offers complete range of banking and financial services with a Bank in a Box package, based on its micro-banking platform, TagPay.
Founded in 2005 by Yves Eonnet, an expert in electronic banking, and Herve Manceron, an expert in telecom research, Tagattitude is an innovative French company specializing in secure, electronic transactions. Tagattitude's financial services are deployed in over 30 countries around the world. The company focuses the majority of its resources on research and development. NSDT(TM)Research, for which Tagattitude holds nine patents, is based on 15 years of experience in smart card technologies VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol). NSDT(TM)is an innovative innovation that challenges the classic architecture and processes of the banking ecosystem. This technology makes the electronic transaction process possible on any mobile phone. NSDT(TM)and TagPay(TM)were suddenly adopted by countries that are excluded from the infrastructure of the global payment systems. Tagattitude's early successes in Africa, Latin America and Asia are now the foundations of these countries' payment systems of the future. The first Western banks have begun to adopt the technology. Tagattitude aims to become a major player in the up-and-coming industry of mobile transactions.
