ACME PACKET'S SOLUTIONS DEPLOYED BY TELEFONICA GERMANY FOR THE NEXT-GENERATION SIGNALLING CORE

Acme Packet, a provider of session delivery networks, announced on Tuesday that Telefonica Germany GmbH, a provider of fixed and mobile services, is deploying Acme Packet's solutions for the then and there-generation signalling core.

The deployment

The deployment, financial details of which were not available, includes the Net-Net Session Router and Net-Net Diameter Director, which will support Telefonica Germany's fixed-line voice over IP, 3G mobile network and future Long Term Evolution services.
